Big Cottonwood Canyon Park and Ride Restroom Redesign

The Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities (SLCDPU) is soliciting Statements of Interest and Qualifications (SOQ's) from qualified engineering consulting teams or firms with the experience and expertise to provide design, bidding, and construction management services for the Big Cottonwood Canyon Park and Ride Restroom Redesign project, Project No. 512627463. The specific project is described in a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) posted on SciQuest or available from SLCDPU. Current solicitations by SLCDPU are listed on the City's procurement website www.slcpurchasing.com [navigate to current bids and proposals by clicking on the link labeled Utah Public Procurement Place (SciQuest)]. To get digital copies of the RFQ, log into SciQuest and navigate to the project in question. You will need to register with SciQuest to view and download the project information. It is the responsibility of applicant to periodically check and download additional information that may be posted. The SOQ's shall not exceed six (6), double-sided, stapled pages, 12-point font. Resumes may be attached and are not included in the page limit. The package should address the following: 1. The firm's qualifications and experience with other projects similar in size and scope to the requested services. 2. Experience and qualifications of key personnel to be involved in the project. 3. Ability to be responsive and available to SLCDPU staff. 4. Understanding of the potential Scope of Work. For the SOQ to be considered, one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic copy must be received no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, February 3, 2017. The hard copy must be delivered to the Department of Public Utilities at 1530 South West Temple, Room 101, Salt Lake City, Utah 84115. The electronic copy must be emailed as a PDF to Deb Hendricks at deborah.hendricks@slcgov.com. A copy of the rating form to be used for this selection is posted on SciQuest as part of the RFQ and is also available at the Department of Public Utilities, located at 1530 South West Temple, Room 101. The SOQ's will be analyzed and reviewed by an internal selection committee at SLCDPU.
